Now that Easter is behind us, we’re getting ready at Lowe’s to help you say thank you to your Administrative Professional. Administrative Professionals Week (what we used to call Secretary’s Day) is the 19th-23rd of April with actual Administrative Professional’s Day on the 21st of April, 2010.
Although many people accuse Valentine’s Day of being a “made up Hallmark Holiday,” Secretary’s Day now known as Administrative Professionals Weeks was created in 1952 by a New York PR Firm. Originally slated as a June holiday it was until 1955 that the week was moved to its now familiar last full week of April.
As a spring holiday, Administrative Professionals week offers an amazing array of gift opportunities! Beyond the gourmet chocolates and fresh cut flowers Lowe’s is known for, we can offer unique spring items like blooming bulb and tulip gardens, potted outdoor annual flowers like blooming geraniums and of course gift certificates for spring planting, garden art, and more.
